If you're NE of Pavilion Dome at the chain of lakes around 11200' and you want to cross Glacier Divide and descend south to the JMT is there a preferred route? Secor doesn't seem to list any passes west of snow tongue. It all looks do-able on the 7.5 but my partner has a limited threshold of scree tolerance.

I was just starting to relish the idea that no one had any informed idea of what I was talking about.
