I think I posted some obscure winter themed tunes from Johnny Cash and Ray Charles in another thread, matching the more common tune I posted in this one. Larry, somehow you captured my wavelength. California forecasts are calling for lots of sun and not much snow in December. I wonder what I'll be able to easily access when I have time to head to the high country again at the end of the month!?
Regardless, after a wet start with over 6 inches of rain at my place and over 12 at some of my nearby hiking spots, December is shaping up to be a great time to run the trails around where I live. Much of the state has only approached freezing temperatures one night this fall. Plants are faring well, and so were fall colors prior to winds over the weekend. Our golden rolling hills are green again until the dry season starts. Aside from the short days, it should be a fun time to be outside.
