Was wondering how much snow we got in the san gorgonio area out of this last storm. Anybody been up there?

Didn't actually get up there, but got a pretty good view. Was in Oak Glen, outside Yucaipa, over the weekend (around 5k) and I would say the snow level dropped to around 7500 to 8000 feet below Gorgonio. It was pretty cloudy when I was there, but on the way home the sky opened up and it looked like above that was a pretty solid blanket of white. On my way out there Baldy had a decent dusting too, snow level probably just over 8k feet. (No snow on Iron Mountain). Can't speak for the actual accumulation in either area. I know it looked like right around the snowline probably wouldn't last that long....

Yah it always looks white after a storm, but melts off pretty quickly (at least in the early season). At least that is what I see from home. Always hard to tell if there is any snow accumulating long term from 40 miles away though. Thanks gusto.

Last year on Nov 5, there was already over a foot of snow on top of San Gorgonio.... and that turned out to be a very dry winter. Hard to tell what the next month will bring.
