The cube does suck. We got very lucky this weekend, only saw one group of three on sat, and nobody today. Felt very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves.

Saw blue ice on Mt. Morrison yesterday; southeastern aspect in a thin "Y" shaped gulley....I have pics if anyone is interested.

Deb, take your time. These wankers would be too afraid to climb it anyway... :)

Hey Deb! Thanks for posting, but I don't see it. It's probably my tired eyes from staring at this screen for too long.

Coming off Aggie. More than couple hundred yards, easy half mile.

I'd love to do it with someone hard-ass and a good plan for getting down. :)

Someone went up to do U-notch recently and found some good ice there. Right now would probably be great to do that route since rock fall should still be minimal (but don't take my word for it, bad things happen).

Early U! I'd imagine one good snowstorm and you'd be back to square one.

That was me who posted that on MP. We did have rock fall and with warmer weather on the way I wouldn't expect it to get any better. If your thinking of making a go at it, be prepared for full on snow conditions from the cabin on. HIGHLY suggest snowshoes, i wouldn't even consider it with out them. It was one helluva approach. The ice is beautiful though!
