Howdy folks,
I heard about Stewart Mineral Springs Retreat (in Weed, CA) a couple of years ago from a Shasta local, though I have never actually visited the place.

Sounds like it's not a real natural hot springs resort, but sort of a heated mineral water soaking experience? Anybody actually stayed there? Any recommendations, pros/cons? Is the place worth a stop/stay for a soak after a Shasta climb?

...plus there you could stay a night as close as possible (aside from forest camping) to the easiest routes up Mount Eddy, but the road beyond to the trailheads is blocked by snow in winter and spring.
