Help planning route in South Sierras for 75 year old

I am trying to put together a 2 or 3 day route in the Southern Sierra. My hiking partner is 75. He prefers not to hike over 10 miles a day, doesn't do well with too much climbing, and does best under 10,000ft. He has only done 4 backpacking trips: Rogue River Trail in Oregon (4 days), the East Rim Trail in Zion (from the top down 2 days), Panimint City (2 days), and an overnighter in the Domeland Wilderness. It is only about 7 miles up to Panimint City, but has 3,500 ft. of elevation gain. That is as strenuous has he can do. On the Rogue River Trail he did up to 16 miles in a day, but on easier terrain.

So for our upcoming trip, I was considering starting at Kennedy Meadows and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail north, connecting up with the Olancha Pass Trail, and ending up at Sage Flat (3 day shuttle trip). It's around 23 miles. Would this be a scenic trip and be within his abilities? Are there other 3-day trips (30 miles or less) that would be more scenic? We can start anywhere from Kennedy Meadows to Mammoth on the east side, and Kernville to Sequoia National Park on the west side. And we really would prefer a loop if we can find a good one.

heres one 30 mile hike one way from tuolumne meadows to mammoth on the JMT. i am pretty sure this hike goes above 10,000 feet a lot but you can take your time.
