Is the map not working for anyone else? For me the map loads but none of the icons show up like they used to.

hmm the Google Earth view works but not the Google Map view, so something changed with the kml embed. I'll try to see what's up and fix it when I get a chance...

Google maps has randomly changed views for the last 5 months. Some days Terrain view works, other days it does not. It's part of the new hip culture; it doesn't matter if things work, as long as they give a wow gadget experience.

I haven't noticed any "terrain" outages at any point, but if you zoom in close enough the terrain option disappears anyway. There may be outages in certain regions while they're updating maps or something? The maps are definitely different from when the feature first appeared - there were areas that looked like they had info imported directly from a USGS survey and that info is now missing.
