Hands weren't steady, hence the wavy skyline.

I got to see the Sierra from the Inyos Aug 30. Man, I have never seen the Sierra so snowless. Must be all the reality TV.

I thought it was your instructions on the front of the summit log book. General description about mt Russell etc. I could be mistaken though

Yes it is very dry up there. I hope we get a better winter this year

Yes solo. It would be semi impossible to car to car it for someone who ropes up for much of it. I think I will post it tonight. Took longer than I would want since I did it in memory of a friend and couldn't make it a short TR...Sean, with your endurance I think you could do it in 22 hours without much trouble. Especially if acclimated.

OH! Yes, a while back I placed a register there after people on SP mentioned it needs another one.

Perfect summer day for climbing at Granite Basin and eating Whoa Nellie fish tacos today. Temps will be dropping this last week of summer - get some while you can in a T-shirt.

Climbed at Rock Creek yesterday; WARM in the sun and perfect in shade. Also, Pie in the Sky will serve their last meal on Oct 6 and close Oct 14th.
