Has anyone been to Boundary Peak (and Montgomery Peak in CA) lately?

Was wondering about the condition of the road (Trail Canyon Rd.) for a 2WD car.

Also, is these any snow yet?

Thanks.

Send a PM to Rick (aka "The Chief") -- he lives close by and will eyeball it for you and report back. I did this, he was very prompt in responding.

You can't see Boundary or Montgomery from downtown Bishop.

From Bishop the Whites look completely dry. The north slopes on the other hand are holding a little snow. Here's the northern end of the range from Rovana earlier today...
