SP PAGES AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Hello everyone:

We have some pages currently available for adoption. You can see them HERE.

After some discussion, the member has assured me his departure is needed, so his pages need new owners. Some photos may be left behind. Use whatever is present to your desires.

PM me directly concerning this matter. I'll see to the transfer(s) as quickly as possible.

Thanks!

Not seeing the pages up for adoption, Aaron, just the climber's log ones.

Or have they all been adopted already?

Hello Everyone:

Foweezer requested that he be deleted. He notified me that it was time and he needed to depart from SP for a number of reasons, namely due to a time management thing. He was spending too much time on SP, probably something most of us could say.

Another one of the staff must have gone ahead and deleted him. It was my intent to redistribute his pages (unless he did already) before deleting his membership to have a base from which to work for adopting out the pages. Since this did not occur, his work is presumably gone.

You now know as much as I do.

Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.

Or you could just...stop coming to the site?

Pity to see his work lost.

Agreed. I don't know what exactly happened, but I would have liked the chance to redistribute his pages. Win some, lose some.

Did Foweezer spend any time in P&P?

Aaron, does SP give users an option to save their pages when they delete their accounts? If not it seems like a feature that would be useful.

Yes.

That explains it.

Sorry to see him go, he had a lot to add. Fun to climb with too.

X2, never got a chance to climb with him, but liked checking out his pages. Looks like Roberts Horn is gone, who feels up to re-writing that one?

I think you'd be perfect for the job.

I'm sorry to see him go too.

A message from Foweezer for ya-all:

"Will you post on the thread that Aaron started re: adopting my pages to let people know which pages I had that that they can now add. That way at least people I did the climbs with will be able to post the mountains. Here's the list:

Mountains (with routes)
Static Peak, Tetons (and the normal hiking route)
Cube Point, Tetons (and the East Ridge route)
Robert's Horn, Wasatch (and the normal hiking ridge route, don't remember the name of it)

Routes Only:
Sundial Peak, SW of Corner (the 5.7 route to the right of the giant arete splitting the north face or something like that)"

Would it be permissible to get an old version of the page (Cached) and use that as a starting point? Failing that... hell, I've been up static and cube (the latter with foweezer).

I'll put up the Sundial routes: SW of Corner, Eleventh Hour and East Ridge.

Wasatchvoyage wrote:Thanks Zeejay, here's the new page for Robert's Horn, I'd like to integrate some more photos and info over the next couple of days. If anyone has some pics or other route info attach them and I'll get them on the page. I've seen some killer photos of this peak from other folks here!

Nice page! I've got some good photos I'll add today.
