Thanks for all the help, everybody. My wife and I had a great trip. I started it out with a great view of the Four Peaks and Superstition Mountains on the flight into Mesa Gateway Airport. The next morning, I climbed Brown's Peak and had great views on a clear day. We took a "sampler platter" approach to Sedona, including Fay Canyon, Cathedral Rock, Palatki ruins, and Devil's Bridge. Watson Lake/Granite Dells were neat to see. An attempt of Flatiron and Superstition 5024 was thwarted by my wife's migraine headache. But, the Upper First Water Creek loop and the Hieroglyphics Trail gave us a good experience in the Superstition Mountains. The only real disappointing part was we were unable to find the ruins and petroglyphs in Perry Tank Canyon within the Agua Fria National Monument.
Had good eats at The Cowboy Club in Sedona, The Palace in Prescott, and Joe's Real BBQ in Gilbert. I did not sample Wendy's spicy chicken, but El Taco Tote in Mesa provided spicy and delicious food.
