There have been alot of photos in the recent years of them here in New Brunswick. I would have a hard time imagining they're gone from Maine when they seem to be growing ever popular here.... though maybe they're coming for the Canadian back bacon..... There were some pictures a year or so ago a guy took from inside his house. The cougar had gotten up on his deck and was watching his children playing in the livingroom....creepy. The lynx is getting quite popular too. Plus in Fundy Park they have caught them on the cameras they have set up to catch wildlife in the park.

I saw a picture from a friend of mine who lived near Corning, NY. The picture had three cougars in the yard, sitting on a snow-covered car. Also, I live in a small town in Central New York, about a year ago there were several mauled sheep at our game farm, including one found in a tree...I sure know that wasn't a coyote.
