I just bought my first piece of ArcTeryx gear...

Basically I was leading WI 3 last year but this year it will be WI5+.

I will be replacing my old partners for new better ones.

The world is simply a better place !

When you buy ArcTeryx gear, your buying the name. I don't buy their stuff because there's cheaper clothing that does the same thing. It just has a different logo on it. But if you have the money...spend it....

Congrats Brian. Good luck with that partner search...

Hot: did you miss the humor in Brian's post? I've scored great deals on deadbird gear in the past that were too good to pass up. With this economy there are so many discounts and sales out there. Cheers!

I'll miss you. Maybe I can find some Arcteryx gear cheap and then climb with you again. Though I don't like the "dead bird" comments.

eBay has great deals on dead bird stuff from time to time, I got a new jacket over 50% off...which dropped it below the price of other jackets I was looking at...

You'll probably be leading 12's... easy! (Especially if you get that book "How to Climb 5.12").

I do not think so...

So far I've managed to add one piece of Arcteryx gear to my collection... a free chalk bag.
I must say, my climbing has greatly progressed due to the clear superiority of its design.

Oh you should see my Arcteryx bibs my friend. With their logo on them I am able to run to the summit of Aconcagua in one afternoon and then jump over to everest and summit that.

AND!! I do not get a drop of water on my legs, nor do feel any wind penetrate the pants!!!

I just bought some Arc'teryx softshell pants made from some kind of Schoeller. Thank God I didn't pay retail for them.

Ouch, good call, I did miss that, I feel silly.

So I got my first Arcteryx Gear today since I read all the hype. It said if I wear their new T-Shirt, it can cut off at least 5 min. on my 2 mile runs I do. I can't wait!

It also cuts off 20 lbs from your belly!
