I have a pair of North Face pants I use for cold winter mountaineering and skiing. There's a tear in the pants though that I would like to fix. What would be the best way to do that? It's about 2-3" long.

Thanks! And coincidentally I have a tent waiting to get seam sealed, so I might have some extra :D

i had had a piece of electrical tape on my arc'teryx gore-tex pants for four years now. $300 pair of pants with .05 cent repair. the tent seam sealer does work. i have been using that for everything from tent to shell and insulated jacket/pants/mitten/climbing shoes.

Send them to Rainy Pass Repair in Seattle. They can repair and fix anything and are manufacture approved by everyone and do most of their warrantee type work.

I always use Tenacious Tape on the inside and then Aquaseal on the outside of the tear.
