I would opt for dual points. Depending on the snow conditions, you will probably need the purchasing ability that dual points offer. If there was a chance of soft snow, I would use horizontal points.

Definitely dual horizontal points. If there are short technical sections I would make sure to sharpen the points, sharp horizontal points climb water ice just fine.
Something like the Grivel G12 would work well.

Technical horizontal duals. G12, Sabretooths, etc.
