I was reading a really old issue of Backpacker and was really intrigued by its brief mention of this peak. It said that it is surrounded by private land but there was supposed to be some sort of arrangement where access was still possible. Is this still the case?

Just for the record, this is regarding the peak near the town of Square Butte. I just checked and there are several other like named peaks in the state.
