Hello! Was wondering if it is possible to do Gannett Peak in early May? I'll be passing through the area around that time and would love to tackle this challenge.

Possible? Sure. I wouldn't advise it though. The approach will be much more difficult due to snow levels. Check out this trip report to get an idea of what you could encounter.
