Anyone want to do the Grand on Labor Day weekend?

Hi,

I'll be hopefully heading up from Boulder next weekend to summit the Grand Teton. I am an extremely capable climber, just lack some of the technical/equipment skills that would be involved. Some of my accomplishments: Mt. Rainier Kautz Glacier Route, Maroon Bells Traverse, solo climbs of the high Mexican peaks, unroped climb of Monte Rosa, solo summit of Mont Blanc, solo summit of Chimborazo -you get the idea. I've also done some extensive rappelling in Death Valley, drops of well over 200 feet, the largest drop I've rappelled being ~370'. Therefore, I'm rather familiar with technical equipment, just don't have much of it myself, and can't really build anchors by myself. Send me an email if you're interested in the Grand on Labor Day weekend.

Oops. Haven't been here in a while. I'll move to the appropriate forum.

I assume you have a harness, helmet, belay device, etc. and are just lacking a climbing rack or rope?

Yes: harness, helmet, belay device are all in good shape, as is overnight gear. I sent you a reply email. It would be great to scale this peak.
