5 guys from North Dakota are missing in the northern Bighorns. They were snowmobiling about 30 miles west of Bear Lodge. 30 people are searching with an option to use a chopper if the winds calm down. Conditions 2 hours ago were full whiteout. Pray for their safety and if anyone has any info the BHNF Rangers in Sheridan should be contacted.

They've been found alive and well......ran out of gas. How did 5 people all fail to monitor their gas? Just glad they're alright!

I assume they were in the same car perhaps? In that case all it takes is a negligent driver.

In Australia, the general public can't buy snowmobiles. I've always had mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, they seem like an awfully easy way for totally inexperienced people with more money than sense to get out of their depth in the back country. On the other hand, quad bikes (an oxymoron if ever there was one, but I digress) are perfectly legal, no helmets required, no age restriction, no nothing.

They're snowmobile drivers. Not the sharpest group of people on the planet.

'Nuff said.
