My buddy and I are contemplating a trip to Granite next week (Aug 30 to ?). Has anyone been up the SW Couloir recently? Any information is appreciated. Thanks

I'm planning to climb Villard this weekend. I don't think the couloir is visible from there, but I'll update you on what I see.

Also will be heading out there in the next couple weeks - any updated conditions beta would rock.

This report was on Peakbagger from August 3rd (so still dated).

Def looking for updated conditions. Will be heading in on September 8th for the weekend.

Perhaps a bit late, but talked to some climbers on 9/3 who reported that any snow/ice remaining is easily avoided without gear.

Confirmed dor SW Ramp - no snow or ice that is not easily avoidable.
