Uploading picture fast?

Is there any way to quickly upload pictures? By going to the 'create page' => 'image' thing that takes a minute to 3 minutes per picture (slow pc). And, say I need to upload a lot of pictures...well, you get the idea. This is the primary reason I usually don't post TRs on here.

If you have a PC,

Why do you want to upload pictures quickly?

You can do as the late DMT did: post a TR in a thread, by embedding links to an existing IP.

Unless you are expecting that people will need the full-sized image to find routes etc., you should be happy just uploading a resized (say 1024x768) version. That saves upload time and storage space. The bulk uploader can automatically resize images.

I use Google Picasa to quickly shrink entire batches of photos to prep them for upload to SP. Just open your photos for editing in Picasa, >>View library (?) >> Export DONE. My photos load to SP in the blink of an eye.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

I suppose I should have been a little more clear on that.
