Okay, who is it these days? Going to need a little help as it seems things in the page-making process may have changed a bit. Let me know who I should be talking to and I'll message them.

Josh would be a pretty smart bet!

Sarah is always (rather eager) to assist the befuddled html-challenged contributor ... OMG, she changed her name back to Simon!

I'm also a CSS Guru.
I'm very approachable and even wrote an article on this kind of stuff.
You can contact me in private which is fine. But if you contact me in public other people benefit from it as well.

I had multiple questions. But here's the first. When hyperlinking pages, I used to just do this: <a href=//http://www.summitpost.org/mount-bigelow/710530> to get the person to go to - in this case - Mt. Bigelow's page.
but now, that sends the person to a suddenlink search page:

You need to remove the first to slashes after the equal sign. This is the correct code:
- Code: Select all
<a href=http://www.summitpost.org/mount-bigelow/710530>LINK TEXT HERE</a>
or
<a href=http://www.summitpost.org/mount-bigelow/710530></a>

Following the recent site changes, I can see the default background for pictures is sort of a dark gray, or not quite black. For a table with multiple pictures and one caption spanning all pictures, I am trying to make my caption formatting match the default.
In HTML terms, what bgcolor should I enter below in place of "black" to create the same background color as the default for single pictures?
<tr bgcolor=black><td colspan=3><center><span style="color:white;">
