And by the way: it would be useful to attach Chandras Mettelhorn mountain / route page to e.g. Pennine Alps to where this peak belongs.

Thanks to the elves, Michael

Both done

Just had a look at the Putukusi case, encountered a couple of times for few peaks before... why not making a "page merging" procedure ?
- The poorest of the 2 is eventuelly eliminated
- The content of the eliminated one is added to the main one : for chapters present in both, the content is appended ; for absent chapters, these are added. Then, all the content of the deleted page is preserved into the main one. If the elve has time to read redundant information, perhaps eliminate some.
- Both authors have editing rights to the merged page, and receive a notification
What do you think ?

This page http://www.summitpost.org/area/range/65 ... tinat.html and its sub pages appear to be a duplicate of Gangolf's Suedpfalz area page and its sub pages.

The main area page is mostly in French and this is of unbdoubted value to our French speaking members but the sub pages seem to be abbreviated versions of what has aleady been posted. For example http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock ... elsen.html (Gangolf) and http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock ... sfels.html.

I guess the call on this one is principally up to Gangolf.

A bit difficult:

Is this Weissmies southeast ridge route pagea duplicate to this route page???

Both describe the southeast ridge ......

If not: user LeslieH should attach the page to the Weissmies main page.

This apparently is a duplicate mountain page (http://www.summitpost.org/stranded-moun ... 657/678172).

I suggested to the user that he turns his page into a route or a trip report attached to the original mountain page and offered my assistance doing so. He may need elfin assistance with this...

Thanks,
Sarah
