Explain the low vote in the comments section of the report. That may not be needed in this cut-and-dry case, but may help people improve in marginal cases (I'm ever the optimist).

Oops! Sorry about that post. I was experimenting with embedding web pages and videos. Last night I created about 4/5 pages of cut/paste material with different media types to try and wrap my brain around some of the code. I deleted the other ones immediately but forgot that one. Got it now though!

PS - I may not have posted much in the forums but have been on board for a little while. From my profile..."Member Since Sep 29, 2007"

Brian,

I think that the objection might have been to the format of the report with all the scrolling required within the window.

Reports pasted from other sites have even been featured on the "front page" in the past.

It is far better than just posting a link.

Fred,

That's why I was messing around with this. I was hoping to figure out how to embed without having it show up in a screwy format. I still never figured out how to do it like the link you attached.

I've always found a forum post that goes something like "hey, let me point out my AWESOME NEW TRIP REPORT before it gets buried in all the other new crap" to be very poor form. I've also found it interesting to see (on occasion) the elves actually rewarding this behavior by posting the shit up on the front page

This doesn't really bother me.
