Refractive surgery

I'm going to get refractive surgery. Anybody have any information about healing time and climbing. I plan to got to Cascades in May. Surgery before or after?

I had PRK done in 2006, and cannot stress enough the importance of wearing sunglasses at ALL times while outside no matter what the sky looks like. I talked to a guy who was having his redone because he didn't wear sunglasses for 6 months in Iraq, and said he had so much scar tissue it was like looking through 300ft of screen door.
