I'm planning on going climbing in South America. What should I bring, and what should I climb?

Seeing as how Michigan is just like the desert SW, except when there is a blizzard, I usually go with a speedo for the lower body and my TNF Baltoro parka on top. A beanie with a propeller helps to keep me cool when the snow stops.
