Some of these songs I'd listen to while on long-ago road trips. Listening to them later made me remember my experiences vividly. Other songs simply trigger that special mood on their own.

i can't really think of music i find worthy of the mountains. maybe on the ride up though. jawbreaker, social d, both good choices. usually listen to things that will get me psyched...in my eyes, the church, maybe some bad religion.

Tool is also one of my strong favorites. Anyone else like the song i posted?

I write songs for my band, Infinity Pure, a few of them are about the mountains.
Supertramp reminds me of a time I was in the Sawtooths and it was raining.
Tumbing Dice by the Rolling Stones was stuck in my head all the way along Dinwoody Creek on my way toward Gannett, everytime I hear that song I get that picture of turquiose Dinwoody Creek and the surrounding peaks.
