Go somewhere where you can do something fun. On my (our) honeymoon we went to Italy. But in addition to Rome, Florence, etc., we went to the Dolomites and did some hiking and a via ferrata. We would have done more but my wife caught a cold and, since it WAS our honeymoon, I couldn't exactly ditch her and go climbing.

We have a similar trip planned. The bride to be is not into hiking much but I'd like to at least spend a night in the Dolomites and enjoy some of the scenary. Perhaps do a short hike somehere...

Your lists ain't nothin' (but wonderful, envious)

If you're going later in the summer the ski lifts will be running and she won't have to hike much. Plus some of the via ferrata you can do in a morning/afternoon. Gotta get that stuff in before the kids arrive...

More just of outside goals this year…

Follow 5.9 without making it look too painful and maybe lead a little on some easy stuff.
Check off at least 3 of CA 14er’s this year.
Finally get up to Mineral King in the winter time
Get some revenge on Mt. Ritter.
2 easy backpacking trips with my wife
Overnight snowshoe trip with my wife
Finally get some backpacking in Yosemite or northern Kings (Sequoia, been there done that.)

Looksa like LAST years goal was probably the most worthwhile one yet.... Congrats
