Ampman, welcome. This site is an awesome community of people who love the outdoors and high places. Just curious, did you grow up in Perry? Isn't that where the band originated from? Yeah, I was a big fan back in the 70's...still am!

Hes on and off. When SP gets exciting somehow everyone comes out of the woodwork until the topic dies or gets deleted. Just the other week we had a perfect example of it.

Yes, he left, deleted his own account, but while you were MIA a while back he returned with a new account, just to troll, then was deleted.

Booted already? No I haven't met him but have sent and received many "pm's" and emails from him. He's been helpful and seems like an ok SPer to me. He's offered a few times to go along on climbs but the timing for me was wrong. Same old story with me.

What do you mean 'booted already?'? Did you not read the posts? It was 3-4 days, I'm surprised it took that long.

Not Perry, as in Perry Ga. I am from Macon originally. My dad died when I was 13 and we moved to Tucson AZ. That is where I was introduced to real mountain peaks, compared to the Appalachians where I summered as a child. I dreamed of being a climber but backpacking became my obsession until I discovered rock and roll and Women.
I am looking forward to learning from this site, which I have already done a little, like avoiding the squishy's of the world. There are some pretty incredible people here.

Oh hell yes, lots. I build guitar amplifiers for a living, here in my own shop in Venice.
I am very involved with the music industry, but not so much in the recording end of it anymore, having sold my interest in the last studio I built. Partners are only good in climbing it seems.
I'll post some on my page here. This version of PHB doesn't seem to allow me to post photos directly on this forum. Nice to meet ya'll.

I saw like his 2nd or 3rd post and it was fine. I must have missed the rest. Although
I'm sure there are many SPers that have seen some of my post and would love to see me booted
