I didn't put them in any specific order

Haha I know man. If you can get out and do those, props to you. I can't even imagine getting enough money for either of those right now. California State University fee raise bullshit!

I know for sure I can not do K2

but Denali may be sometime in the near future

I know how you feel

After you add up all the cash, plane tickets, permits, porters, fees, gear

It comes out to much more than a 15 year old could afford with a high school job

Learn to lead trad
Improve my climbing to lead 5.12/V8 (pretty lofty, but hey, goals are for growth)
Learn to Tele-ski
The Chief and El Cap
Kilimanjaro
Denali
Aconcagua
Mt. Waddington
Ama Dablam
Everest, not for the title but for the personal challenge, even though its just a really high hike
Some Crazy FA in Patagonia
Build a Bouldering Gym in my garage/basement

Accomplishments, however pathetic they may be:
Bouldered V6, hardest yet for me.
Took a glacier course last summer to learn the skills

Thats about all I can think of for now that are decently significant. Room to improve!

Go for your goals and don't think they are lofty. Keep your eyes open to the possibilities, and put in the time and hard work. As you have already started, learn the basics. Most importrantly, find people who have the experience, have the drive and vision so you are not held back. And the people who tell you that something isn't possible, question them why they think that way.

My climbing partner Matt and myself have been getting this young guy out. He's strong, has the desire and has a good head on his shoulder. In his first year doing trad we've had hime out on 3 or 4 5.13 cracks, countless 5.12 cracks and he has lead some of the 5.12 cracks. He also wants to learn to ice climb (and he knows that falling there is NOT a great option, so he knows that he has to be more conservative there). Someday soon he will probably a brillient climber far surpasing either myself or Matt.

I've seen other people who have taken a similar course recently. Clay, who you have probably never heard of, except for a photo here and there in the Patagonia catalogs but he has climbed 5.13c/d finger cracks in two tries. Nik Berry is another one, who unless Climbing magazine never published a small blurb about him you probably would never had heard of him also, except he free'd 3 routes on El Cap this spring. (Yeah, in a post this spring, I said you'd never hear of the Nik, I guess I'll eat those words).

He had a background of sport climbing and bouldering for a couple of years but had the desire to get into trad. Now Nik, I climbed with a couple of times out at the Forks when he was out climbing with his friends, and I have to say I learned stuff from him.

I don't post it to be an #ss or anything else, except to say don't let people say certain goals are lofty or unattainable. Unless you have the vision, you will never get there. The vision comes first and is probably the hardest step to take.
