I regularly go through the new images by selecting created within and sorting by creation date (ascending).
There's some great pictures that will get skipped when you sort by score...


You can change the days to look back by changing the value for 'within_last_3=[4]'

Just curious which Mod put this thread on off route? I'm sure we won't get that answer but seems this was a nice front page post issue. Too many of off route threads turn to crap.

What is really ironic about your claim is that some of those "self portraits" got high scores via the bullshit voting system. Just goes to show how quality not quantity as you state in your post, does not prevail.

This thread is just another grand example of how the "voting" system is based on who likes who, who is "fishing for compliments" and kisses folks asses to get the votes.

Plenty of shots throughout the journals of SP that have some ridiculous amounts of 10/10 votes on em that are mere bullshit and follow as anita so eloquently posted:

Fact is, I do not post anything (nor flood the site with photos and TR's) here to get any accolades as many appear to do.

Just do it so that others can enjoy areas and situ's that they may never have the opp to do so.

Although yes I agree that the popularity contest has taken over the voting system, this thread was actually created for the opposite. Do you see any pics of mine posted by me in this thread? No! This thread was designed (at least hoped) to equal out the attention to those photos that deserve it. No offense to the guys who post nice beach sunset photos, but I often don't vote on them. Now if I were the site owners, I would create a sister site for posting great photography of all sorts and then encourage the users of sp to post there sunset shots there.

And if I ever post a bad picture on sp, don't hesitate to contact me about it. (I try to avoid this)
