That photo you put up earlier of the climbers with the headlamps(shining) on top of that peak is superb.

What is really ironic about your claim is that some of those "self portraits" got high scores via the bullshit voting system. Just goes to show how quality not quantity as you state in your post, does not prevail.


Not every photo that has a person in it is a portrait; surely those last two don't qualify as portraits.

I would also add to that exclusion list photos that look like they should be painted on black velvet. (over-saturated photos)

Sounds like me dog! :lol: He's extremely cute, but is not the brightest dog. Especially when it comes to begging for food that he actually doesn't like.

The second photo you posted even though it 's a great photo there are two reasons it doesn't have a ton of votes.

1. The member is inactive
2. The photo resolution is semi low

Now it certainly won my vote, but these two factors always play a roll even with some of the best photos posted on this site.
