Help me identify this film.

It's from the 1970's perhaps. A guy climbs a mountain. Looks a lot like it might be filmed in the tetons. He climbs up, placing pitons, etc. At one point he makes a traverse across a steep step. Finally, he gets to the top and skis down. Partway down, he falls, slides a long ways, then gets up and continues.
Not really any dialogue.
I know this is kind of a vague description, but there can't have been that many old climbing/skiing movies of this type from that era.
Anyone recognize this movie? Anyone know what it was called?
