Look for an indoor climbing gym that offers a climbing 101 class (or equivalent) while you read Freedom of the Hills cover to cover.

Unfortunately for him, there's probably no climbing gyms in Pakistan. But they have some big rocks to climb! :)

Basic Rockcraft and Advanced Rockcraft by Royal Robbins, although I have no idea how you might obtain them in Pakistan.

A nice climbing book for beginner's is the following:

The Climbing Handbook: The Complete Guide to Safe and Exciting Rock Climbing
Steve Long - Firefly Books; 2007
http://www.amazon.com/The-Climbing-Handbook-Complete-Exciting/dp/1554072786/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1332439131&sr=1-1

If you can't find it, I'll bring it over next time I'm in Pakistan.

Freedom of the Hills is excellent, & has a great deal more than just rock climbing (snow climbing, ice climbing, mountain weather, first aid, glacier travel & crevasse rescue, .....).

A good guide for more specifically rock climbing is 'How to Rock Climb,' by John Long: http://www.amazon.com/How-Rock-Climb-4th/dp/0762724714

While out of print (I think), & not seen too much these days, Royal Robbins' books (Basic & Advanced Rockcraft) are also quite good.
