Fun thread!

My first was a 35mm image, digitally reproduced.

Mount Garfield, near Grand Junction, Colorado. I have never liked the framing/composition of the photo, but I was trying to cut out some unsightliness in that would have been in the foreground. The plus is that I got the neat clouds in there.

A true NOOB when I posted my first pic...a friggin' sign! I would learn later the disdain many members have for posting trail signs on SP. This one actually was/is helpful. Even this year I believe the trail to the cliff tops of the Chimneys is closed for restoration.

Thought I'd help you out. I just recently figured this out myself. Frustrated the hell out of me for a long time.

When you are on the page showing the photo, click on it to enlarge...then copy the URL and use the Img tags. It has to be posted in the forum as "original". http://images.summitpost.org/original/440260.JPG

Wow! Thanks Mark for the swift response. I'll give it a try.
Anyway this is Picture Puzzle, 13,280', Inconsolable Range, Eastern Sierra. Early morning on a dayhike from South Lake. I was on my way to the north slope of the peak, August, '07.

It's very simple. Place in the image url where it says "INSERT IMAGE URL". (using the syntax below)

Actually, just RIGHT CLICK on your photo to obtain the URL. It's so simple, even a Cave Man can do it !
