After seeing all the comments on this thread I sent an e-mail to Snowbird, and told them I could probably pin the area down to a couple of hundred feet on an aerial photo.

I wouldn't wait to hear back, maybe call the Sheriff as well. It could start snowing soon and that thing would be lost.
