I was actually wondering where you were lately. I assumed you had not logged in (until recently) because of some expedition.

I know you're feeling like crap right now, but you need to know that you have thousands of friends that are thinking of you and are standing with you. You have an inner strength that will beat this damned disease. Think of all the mountains that you have climbed. Think of all the cold nights that you have spent. Think of all the times that you weren't sure if you were ever coming back home. Those are the moments that have made you what you are. You will come home, stronger and a better man than ever. And, we will all be smiling with you.

When Parofes put up an article on his declining health I was shocked.......it is sad to see such an outdoor enthusist delt a terrible hand. Keep your head up high, never give up, never surrender, and fight the good fight buddy.

Hi Paulo, best wishes from the Netherlands. For most people, leading their daily lives with their daily worries and small problems, it is hard to understand what you are going through when a serious illness comes your way.
