Helloooowwww duddddeeessss!!!

I'm back (terminator style) hehehe

I am here now to thank each and everyone of you for the good words, vibes sent to me for the past 45 days. Unfortunately I had no internet access and after I went to the ICU (I almost died!!), not even my wedding ring could stay with me.

After a 20 days fight inside the ICU, I came back to the room fully recovered, and at the last 5 days or so inside the ICU I was on morphine for pain...believe it. The blue little machine at the left side of the photo is a "Pain Bomb" as we call it here, with morphine so I could press the button everytime I wanted to easy the pain.

But, a lot better, in my home to recover in three weeks (3), before the next round of chemo.

Again, thanks a lot. Fighting the good fight folks!!! And I am winning!!!

:P

This image is frm feb 9, I was in bad shape. Now I am a lot better!

Thank you all for the great words.

Chad, I'm not even trying my best to win this, let's say, I'm with half my mind on this and full body of course. You gotta save some energy for the most difficult days man...hehehe

So far so good. As I said before, won the first battle, the biggest of all. My bone marrow is working properly now, my blood test looks like the one of a normal healthy person, getting better and better in matter of hours, amazing.

Next round is set up to around march 15th. I'll be admitted again to the second round of chemo, which will be much easier for me and my body. I'll probably stay indoors at the hospital for 25 to 30 days, and after that I'll be back home again.

Since this time it's not expected any big problems such as the one I had on the first round, I won't go to the ICU, so at the room I'll be able to stay in touch with you guys, part of my healing strength! Don't forget about that ever. Everyone of you.

Last blood test: 219.000 of platelets, and on the last 13 months it was never above 110.000. (normal starting on 140.000!!!). After the first round of chemo it went down to 7.000, normal since the bone marrow stops working for about 10 to 18 days because of the chemo.

Cheers folks

Parofes

Thanks Paulo for the update, I'm always checking here for your updates and am happy your bood has normalized. I'm very familiar with blood disorders as my wife has a neoplasm (cancer) called myleofibrosis. I have watched first hand how important healthy blood is for normal living and without it life can be pretty tough. After a 3 year battle with her disease she will undergo a bone marrow transplant on March 28th. Stay positive and know you are not alone.

Well, normally I d say "I'm sorry to hear about your wife's condition", but I won't since she is already set for the bone marrow transplant!!!
Onthe contrary, I wish you guys all the luck in the world!

And may the "people's juice" be as good as all your hopes.

Well dudessss

Great news, my last myelogram, the hateful exam in which the doctor stick a huge needle on my bone to suck out the bone marrow (I did six already, and I'll do another one as soon as I get back to the hospital) said to me on the last one I did on feb 15 (got the result back today):

"Bone Marrow in Morphological remission"

FUCK YEAH!

I'm ready for the next battle. Arrrrchhhheerrrssssss, get ready!
