Smileys Project: Committed "Climbing the Classics"
Posted: Thu Mar 14, 2013 7:29 pmMy wife and I are attempting to climb all the Fifty Classic Climbs of North America. This is something that no one has done before. We are making films of the adventure along the way, and posting them for free on our webpage http://www.smileysproject.comand any other pages that would like to embed them.
We have completed 40 of the 50, and this summer are hoping to climb and film 7 more climbs. I launched a kickstarter campaign to raise support. We are hoping that the climbing community will get behind this grass roots effort so we can keep the videos coming.

My question is this:
1. Do you personally see this as my wife and I trying to pull a fast one by get our climbing road trip paid for?
OR
2. Do you see this as asking people to make a donation to this huge effort, so we can add value to the climbing community, inspiring others to get out and climb together, and increase the level of positive awesomeness that climbing is to anyone that watches the videos?
