I don't understand what the guy meant in the article by saying they did it to help adventurers like themselves. How does seeing a picture of the summit help?

So you know it when you get there. Nothing more embarrassing than carrying on climbing after you have already reached the summit.

It's got clouds all around ... sure you can see the south face, but it's kind of like doing an urban street view when there's so much fog you can't see what anything is/says.

I know this is a little sarcastic, but I always figured I reached the top when there was nowhere left to go but down
