Hey everyone,
I'm planning a backpacking trip for jan 1-4, looking in the uintas but wondering if anyone has advice on places that are lower elevation (to avoid exposure.) we are experienced with winter camping and route finding but need some ideas to start with.

One option would be to make it easy on yourself and stay at one of the yurts operated by BRORA. These are accessed from about mile marker 48 (winter gate) on the Mirror Lake Highway south of Evanston Wyoming.
