I've found a couple ideas for a dayhike at CRNP with panoramic views of Waterpocket Fold, but wondered what others might recommend for just 1 day at the park.

Thanks!

If you like scrambling, Ferns Nipple is the most unique summit feature in the park and don't forget to try the rattlesnake in Torrey at Cafe Diablo.

Upper Muley Twist, Some of the Slots off the Notom road such as Cottonwood and Burro.

For hikes with sweeping views of the fold, definitely Upper Muley Twist or Navajo Knobs.

Thanks! Is the Frying Pan trail worth a stop too?

My favorite would be Brimhall Canyon/Bridge.

All the above are good too.

I'd do Navajo Knobs + Hickman Bridge, then check out the pioneer register down past the end of the scenic drive (probably catch a glimpse of the many big horn sheep in the area, too), then finish up with a quick hike to Cassidy Arch when the sun was going down. Dinner at either Cafe Diablo or the Rim Rock (excellent views). If you find yourself in the Boulder area at the end of the day (for example, if you drove up from hikes in the fold area, like Upper Muley Twist), Hell's Backbone Grill can't be beat. I know you didn't ask for eateries, but that meal & refreshment at the end of the day is a major part of my hiking experience.
