Hey I am looking for some good hikes in and around the Salt Lake valley in April that would hopefully have little or no snow. Any good suggestions

Big Beacon (Mt Wire), Pipeline Trail (Rattlesnake Gulch and west-in Mill Creek Canyon); Pencil Point/Perkins Peak from the west, Mt Olympus to the Tolcat Stream Crossing, Ferguson Canyon to the overlook, Meridian Peak Loop, Avenues Twin Peaks and Mt Van Cott are all good bets. Possible the west ridge of Granduer, but there might be snow right near the top. A little farther away Frary Peak on Antelope Island and anything on Stansbury Island should be good.

In Utah Valley lower Grove Creek, lower Battle Creek and Dry Creek (at least the Timp one) should be OK. Curly Spring Trail too. Rock Canyon as well. Squaw Peak should be fine from the mouth of Rock Canyon, but it's a steep climb. The hike to the Y or even Y Mountain as well.

In the Ogden Valley, Malans Peak should be good.

PS, best to post this in the Utah forum.
