This year the snow on the main route will be gone by mid may, at the moment the only snow on the main route is the final 500 vert below the saddle, it is well compacted on the trail but ic, in the morning, if you have poles you should be fine, Katoola's, yaktracks or other traction devise's will help a lot. I'll be heading up this Sunday most likely and may update.

Hit the summit this morning. I did run into the snow about 500 feet beneath the saddle area the byates mentioned, from there it terminates just before the main scramble once getting out of the trees above the saddle. The summit ridge area has a nice compacted patch of snow right now as well. The main scramble is clear of snow though wet in a few places. As far as the snow portion I broke my own trail next to the main one for that portion. Too lazy to get out the microspikes.

Meh... scratch my post from last week. Last night dumped 3-5 inches above 7,000 feet. Took some pics. Been limited on time so hitting up Olympus works out good lately, only taking a couple hours out of the day. I didn't see a soul above Tolcat to the summit, both up and down this morning. A few people below Tolcat, that was it.

Loads of fun on the way up this morning:
