Hey guys,

If any of you have read my other post you'd know that I'm having some indecision's about packs, but thats a whole other story. Anyways, selling my Brand new Osprey Variant 52L, simply don't need it at this stage in time and its just sitting in my gear closet unloved. Super nice pack, I only wore it once to try it on for size/fitting and loaded it up with a bit of gear, otherwise has not been used outdoors or in the field.

Retails for $200 at Backcountry, will sell for $175 shipped open to all reasonable offers.

Size Medium. Will also throw in a free osprey pack cover.

Nice pack, I've got the 37, completely blew my old Khamsin 50 away!!!
Would be sweet for overnighter's, but I don't really need another mid-sized pack right now though...

Is the backframe cut low enough to leave room for a helmet? the 37 is ok for that.

I'm not completely sure of what you mean here. I'm guessing your asking if while a helmet, if you can still look around and have a full range of motion while wearing the pack?

I had a nightmare going up a climb with my K50 filled with bivy gear, couldn't look up and the massive belt covered my gear loops...

Just checked and there's plenty of room to look up and such. Definitely a nice thing to be able to do, I've had this problem with my Bora 65 and its decently annoying sometimes.

How do you like that 37?
I have the Varian 52, and quite like it, but am interested in the 37 as a day/ski pack alternative. 52 does work for that, however, but just kind of interested in a smaller version, 35-40 range.

I love the 37, the backframe is short enough that even if you use the belt on top/over the harness you still have clearance for your helmet.
I've scrambled and ice climbed with it on, it's like having nothing on your back (depending how much weight you pack in it of course).

Due to the short backframe, don't expect to carry heavy loads with it comfortably like a backpack, the angle of the top straps won't enable you to balance the weight on your hips.
