Well, someone on Backpackinglight.org has already offered me G12s for $45 shipped to CA, so I guess I'd spend $45. There are G14s on Cascade Climbers right now for $50. I've seen the alu Air Techs break, so I'm kind of factoring in having to replace them in a couple years, versus steel.
How's that sound?
