This is a favorite on Denali and other Alaskan peaks for its water resistance, light weight and warmth...
Steve house used it while climbing the rupal face, so that should say something.
also you can prob grab an First Ascent Peak XV for under $300 if you prefer down, over synthetic

Posted: Wed Feb 01, 2012 7:22 amJust purchased a peak xv on ebay actually. I saw the DAS deal but I wanted something a little warmer. Even on a good day I wouldn't compare my manhood/cold tolerance to Mr House.
