Odd request, but I figure someone here might be able to help me out.

I am looking for some spare Merino Wool fabric for use in repairs.

Due to overuse, my Icebreaker Bodyfit-200 base layers keep developing runs and small tears in the material - easy to fix, but I now need patches for some of the holes. To fix the garments properly, I really need equivalent fabric - mid weight 100% wool base layer fabric. These garments are expensive, and there's no way I'm replacing them when a repair is so straightforward provided the right patch material.

So, if anyone has a ripped up or worn out merino wool base layer garment headed for the trash, I'd be delighted to pay some money for it. Color doesn't matter.

I damaged an expensive parka (Wild Things Belay parka) and called up the manufacturer and they sent me a big swatch of the same fabric, same color to use in the repair. Maybe call Icebreaker and ask if they have spare fabric?
