I have an idea for the user profile page. I know that many are calling for an overhaul with the voting system, but if there are no plans to change it for a while, then I suggest this extra feature while it stands the way it is. How about a drop down menu of your most recent votes given and received? This would be similar to the menu for our most recent comments. There could be many benefits to this depending on how a person uses SP. For some, voting is a subtler (or quicker) way of making a positive comment on someone's object. As much as I wouldn't want to miss responding to a comment someone sent me, I also enjoy responding to SPers who graciously give me a vote, especially when it is a member who I've never seen their profile before. Normally, I respond by browsing their submissions and voting on some of their stuff I like. It's kind of like returning a complement. It can be a great way of noticing new members who are trying to get involved with the site, or finding a climbing partner. Thus, it can serve as a potential networking tool for SPers who are found in the quiet, new, or not-so-competitive crowd. There are a lot of "small-time" SPers on this site that would probably value any amount of feedback they can get, even if its just a simple vote. So, I think having a tool that can provide a brief history of your most recent voting activity would be beneficial. I think the most recent 5-10 would be plenty.
