When I view the "Site Feedback" list of topics, there is no icon in front of "User name change request" for example. Same is true of "Proposal-submitting or Adopting pages you haven't climbed." This seems to be the case with several topics in at least "Site Feedback" and many in Drivel.

I'm not sure how it could be on my end, but on the other hand that seems logical, since no one else has mentioned it here and it has been a few weeks now since I first noticed it. The weird thing is that it seems to be the same whether I'm on the computer at work or at home; they are two different browsers and the work computer dumps everything when I close the browser.

There is a glitch with photos that may have started a few months ago.

For some reason, if you orientate a photo before uploading it, SP doesn't recognize the orientation when a photo is full size. Here's an example:

If you want the full size photo, it appears upside down. I've noticed this with other people's photos as well and they appear sideways when full sized.

I haven't been able to fix it without using the snip tool for photos and resubmitting. I left this one as is for an example.

I've been seeing this too. Scott, do you mind emailing me that exact photo? I might be able to figure out if that's a SP issue or a photo issue. Matt Lemke had a similar issue where it was directly related to Windows 8.

Why did my profile photo disappear? There was nothing concerning or offensive, just a photo of my smiling mug.

Mine is gone as well, seems like it has to do with the original size/scaling of the images. Mine could be offensive, I suppose.

Also to note... I've been trying to upload a couple of panoramic photos, in the end all I get is the SP moniker/links at the top of the page in the blue bar and then nothing but white. Have I been banned from posting such things?

There is a recent glitch with displaying profile images on the profile. I just noticed this today also. It displays just fine in the user list as seen here:



To test this for yourself you can search your own name in the people section. Indeed I looked at your profile and the profile image did not display. Using FireBug I was able to disable some code on my end to make the profile image appear back without making a call back to it's actual path.

Keep whatever broken page up and link to it here so that we can see the issue. Computers are not very forgiving when it comes to issues when we try to purely replicate the issue on our own.

My profile photo is shoved to the right and isn't scaled correctly. I uploaded it again and it looked fine but when I logged in this morning it's hosed again.

This sounds like what happens when the file size is too large. If it's over 8 mb, you get a blank screen.
